Agrochemicals are a problem.
It was long thought, or perhaps hoped, that farming more intensely on existing farmland would save untouched enviroments from the human footprint. Alas, agrochemicals and other factors are either directly or indirectly damaging biodiversity. This paper recommends alternatives.
